WHAT WE DO

We realize the challenges that come with being the sole caretaker of your loved one. We offer a compassionate solution, allowing your family member to spend all or part of the day with us in a loving, Christian environment before returning to the comforts of home and family. Our Adult Day Center aids in delaying nursing home placement and provides needed rest and peace of mind for caregivers. Our Center also provides care for special-needs adults who need day-time care.

Your family member will benefit from daily social interaction outside of the home and will receive the supervision and attention that’s vital to his or her quality of life. The services we provide are a cost-effective, dignified alternative for those who would be placed in a nursing home or assisted living facility prematurely. We seek to alleviate a caregiver’s burden of wondering if their loved one is safe when at home alone. Let us shoulder some of the burdens and share in the joy your family member brings to others.

“Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.’
Proverbs 23:22

WHO WE ARE

Since 1987, the New Testament Adult Day Center has operated from the campus of New Testament Baptist Church in Monroe, North Carolina. We work very closely with local agencies such as the North Carolina Division of Adult Services and the Council on Aging to allow us to better assist families in our community. The New Testament Adult Day Center is a member in good standing with both the North Carolina Adult Day Services Association and the National Adult Day Services Association. We believe that Jesus cares for all of humanity, and while He walked this earth, He stretched out His hand to the poor, the needy, the sick, the maimed, the aged, and the orphaned. One of the many ways we show the love of Christ is to reach out our hand to the aged of our community, along with their families, through our church and our adult day center. We pray that you and your family member will recognize that love and understand that the source is Jesus Christ.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”
